bam : New Video on www.bamf.be : The First Word War from Above & La naissance de la Force Aérienne

Hello,

Thanks Chester, this documentary is fascinating.

For many of us the First World war is an already distant conflict even if members of our families participated in it or if the consequences of this war are still visible today, sometimes under a conflicting and painful shape.

Can these images remind us the price of peace, the madness of certain theories (usually in "ism") and as a good discussion is always better than a long bloody confrontation.

A thought also for these generations of men and women among whom the vocation or the job is to avoid dipping back us into this horror.

The last sequence was shot at the Museum (sorry for our audience not speaking French) and evokes the role of the Belgian military aviation during WW1 and after.

Many happy landings.
